I was commissioned by talented singer Blits to create an animated lyric video for his new song ‘Not Like You’.
Hearing this for the first time, it was so catchy and I was amazed at his talent. I was very flattered Blits wanted to work with me and create an animation for his awesome tune! Blits was awesome to work with and I’m really pleased with the outcome of this, it’s my first lyric video and there is more to come soon in the future!
I was wandering through the darkness and then followed the light in to a vast garden and grew myself some lavender. That heavenly, calming scent and its purple, ethereal appearance; it was me growing a new home for myself.
I’m planning to animate more and create more illustrative pieces, I have a lot of ideas and projects in the pipeline. I can not wait to show you!
A small and sweet animation I did to commend World Book Day 2018. Reading has become an important part of my life and I now freelance as an illustrator for children’s books! Also an excuse to dress up (but I didn’t today because of the snow!)
Hey all! Just updating you to let you know that my commissions are currently closed, this includes the Fivesquid service. I have many commissions to be getting on with already and including children’s books to illustrate. I will update once I am available again soon. 🙂
Happy new year everyone! Thank you for the continued love and support for my artwork and the book I illustrated! Click here to buy the book on Amazon: Superstar Kids: Rhyming Moral Fun! The book is made by order so ignore the out of stock notice!
I have a lot of plans for 2017, I am hoping to have my first stall selling my personal pieces and prints at expos! I will confirm all details about this soon. I also am hoping to collate all my works in to an ‘Art of Aliyah’ book and you can see all of my progression, concept, explanations and tips too!
More than ever, I hope 2017 brings me more self love, inner peace and courage and I hope to express this through my art even more!
Moana drawing! I can not wait to see this film after today’s new trailer! The drawing on the left is the one I did today, the one on the right is from last year October (I attempted inktober and I failed). I am amazed and so happy with my progress and improvement with my drawings. Practising your passion and never giving up is the only way you’ll improve. I’ve been able to draw from as long as I can remember, but by challenging myself and pushing my skills I’ve become a versatile artist. Only now do I finally feel like I’ve found a style that I really do love. This picture is proof that if you keep practising something, you WILL improve.
