With the new and updated layout for Twitch users, it allows you to upload a trailer that shows to visitors while you’re offline. I also saw this as the perfect opportunity to showcase all of the fun things I’ve gotten up to on Twitch since starting in January this year!
I hope you enjoy 🙂
Since reaching Twitch Affiliate, I’ve been so happy and wearing lilac/purple this whole week! Including this illustration I’ve been doing on stream which is my Teasona – for those who don’t know, I love a cuppa tea! I also drink it often in my streams, so I only felt it adequate to draw myself with Lavender-like tea leaves chilling (or brewing?) in tea. What I love about drawing my own original artworks is that you can really express how you’re feeling at the time, and it’s always fun to reflect back on!
I wanted to share the good news that a week ago, I became a Twitch Affiliate! I’m so overwhelmed and thankful for everyone’s ongoing support and enjoyment of what I do. I’m so excited to continue on my journey combining my love for art and games then sharing that with others too!
Also in this current, strange situation with COVID-19, particularly in London right now, it’s an opportunity for me to continue on with this! (Even though I’m mostly home doing these things anyway xD). I am able to work from home with my day job then hop straight in to a stream, so do keep a lookout and follow me for more!
Take care of yourselves. ❤
I have been working on creating a monthly newsletter so my family, friends and fans can all stay up to date with my latest news on projects, exhibits, stalls and anything new all to do with Aliyah Art! I then thought it would be cute to add my little character with the newsletter and started creating emotes of ‘Chibi Alii’ and I really love the outcome – I completed these illustrations on my Twitch stream and they have gone down well on Instagram too, so I’ll be making more for sure! Stay tuned 🙂
I am now frequently livestreaming on Twitch my art and video game playthroughs too!
Do come and check it out.
I feel that livestreaming for me as an artist and also a gamer is a great way for me to showcase and marry two of my most favourite hobbies and share that with my friends and community. I am looking forward to seeing where this takes me! Below are two illustrations that I completed on the livestream.
A t-shirt design I did in collaboration with a colleague and friend of mine affected by the terrible incident at Grenfell Tower back in 2017. We wanted to create something in remembrance and he had a vision to create something with 72 doves, he commissioned me to bring his idea to life. I was strongly inspired by MC Escher here and used the optical illusion of birds intertwining and shaping in to one another to create this final design. I feel it really represents the togetherness of the community and each bird represents one of those lost in the fire.
Miles Morales – The Sunflower
An amazing film, probably the best animation of 2018! It’s just breathtaking, beautifully executed and so visually pleasing! I had to draw some fan art. Above all the representation in this film is so important, even I didn’t realise how much until I finished the movie the impact this has. It’s things like this that drive me forward in order to make sure there is more diversity in art and animation.
Working with Nics Music UK, I helped create a strategy for the design and promo of his second upcoming EP: Stories for MANDY launch party! I also designed the album artwork for his EP, it can now be preordered on all good music platforms.
I’m really proud of everything we have achieved so far with our collaboration and time has really flown by, the launch party night is going to AMAZING!

The sequel to Superstar Kids is now OUT! I spent this entire year working hard on the illustrations for this book with the goal to make them better than the last, I really feel I have achieved that! I am very proud of myself for publishing my second book and there is other books in the pipeline for next year, so keep an eye out! Onwards and upwards 🙂
