Oct ID

In keeping with my challenge, here is my October ID design! Inspired by my trip to the Lavender Fields back in August! I used ink and copics here to also go with my inktober challenge! I will collate all images from this year and 2016 on to a page soon so keep a look out 🙂

Mermay Illustration

Mermay

I sketched out a mermaid in my sketchbook and I took a photo. I thought to progress this on and take the picture in to Photoshop and digitally paint over the sketch but keep the essence of the original picture too. I really like this combination and I will try to do more illustrations like this! I also drew a mermaid for MerMay, this is the first time I’ve drawn a mermaid and it was a lot of fun!

Art Update

I have been a real busy body of late! Many requests are coming through from authors to illustrate their books and I have started a new part time job at the Disney Store too. My life is taking a whole new turn and I am very happy at the way it has unfolded. So much has happened to me within a year, it’s unreal but I feel more in control of my happiness especially career-wise. I hope to one day quit my day job and really be a full time artist! The only way is up.

Inktober Drawings

I have been keeping up with the Inktober challenge so far! Quite happy with myself for getting halfway. I will be selling these original drawings once the month is over, some are drawn on postcards or A4 size paper (300gsm).

They will be up for sale on my Etsy store by November and I will also be selling prints of them too! Please lookout for more updates soon.

Thanks all!

Day 15: Relax

Inktober

Day 1: Fast
October aka Inktober has begun and this time I have set myself the challenge to do this! My challenge will be to draw an inkling from Naruto following Jake Parker’s Inktober 2016 Prompt List. So keep an eye out – I upload my inklings to Instagram everyday, follow to keep up! And let’s hope I manage to stick to it.. Happy inking!
